Baricamp

“Baricamp” is a social initiative which engages children living in orphanages and other special institutions, border villages, as well as children with disabilities from vulnerable families and aims at cutting of them from their everyday life, putting smiles on their faces and realizing their desire to change the gloomy days with light.

Starting from 2015, “Bari Mama” NGO with its team and volunteers transports children with disabilities and orphans to Sevan, Aghveran and other attractive places of Armenia to enjoy the summer sun and spend an unforgettable time. There they enjoy themselves, relax and fill the day with various exciting mental and physical development games and other fun moments.

In 2019, by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, a permanent territory was provided near the village of Shorzha for the implementation of the “Baricamp” project. At first, the camp was like a pavilion, then a canteen, bedrooms and a playroom were built by the joint efforts of various individuals, entrepreneurs and charities. The camp has a busy schedule, providing children with a variety of activities, games, as well as training sessions.

“Baricamp” also has its doors open for all the kind people who wish to have a nice vacation time in a cozily furnished camp, accompanied by beautiful music, while donating to the various projects initiated by “Bari Mama”.
